発表要旨：
When Bertolt Brecht started his carrier as a poet and playwriter he was not interested in writing pure texts. Many of his poems and the most of his plays were connected with music. It is true to say that
Brecht was one of the most remarkable creators of a 20th century musical theatre. Together with leading composers like Paul Hindemith, Kurt Weill, Hanns Eisler, and Paul Dessau he created operas, which are milestones in the theatre history and music history of the last century.
In my lecture I will discuss some aspects of Brecht’s musical theatre which make clear that it is necessary to bring both perspectives of music and theatre together.
